February 1, 2008 - Good Works Coalition Announces Scholarship
Increases.  The GWC has doubled the amount of scholarship money to
be awarded for the 2008-2009 academic year. Click here to learn more

December 14, 2007: GWC Adopt-a-Troop Program Kickoff.  The GWC

November 17, 2007: Fannie Mae's 20th Annual Help the Homeless
Walk. GWC Vice President Kia Silver participated in this program
designed to combat homelessness.  Click here to learn more

November 7, 2007: "Nocturnal Vibes: Race and Economics in the Black
Community" GWC President Tisa Silver served as a guest lecturer and
panelist during an educational forum on the campus of Ursinus College.
 Hosted by Dr. Walter Greason.

November 2-5, 2007:  Thurgood Marshall College Fund's Annual
HBCU Leadership Recruitment Conference.  GWC Vice President Kia
Silver served as a diversity expert and panelist at this year's conference
in New York City. The conference theme is "Preparing Leaders!
Delivering Diversity! Accessing Talent!"   

October 1, 2007: The Good Works Coalition, Inc. participated in the
Delaware 2007 AIDS Walk at Rockford Park on Sunday, September 30.  
The walk drew over 6,000 participants!
