| The Good Works Coalition, Inc. Adopt-A-Troop Program Kickoff |
Happy Holidays!
Even though the holiday season is meant to be happy, it can be an
extremely difficult time for many, particularly troops stationed overseas.
This Christmas, I have a friend in the Middle East who could use some
support! My friend and graduate school classmate, Chris Steiner is
stationed in Kuwait for the next year. He is the Executive Officer for his unit
and the unit contains 39 people in 4 countries.
We are happy to report that the first Adopt-a-Troop shipment was well
received. The GWC will send care packages periodically to Chris and his
colleagues. It has proven to be a huge morale booster for the troops and their
requests are so basic: soap, lotion, candy, toothpaste and DVDs.
Donations are tax deductible and can be accepted by clicking the Make a
Donation button.

If you are unable to donate at this time, please keep all of our troops in your
prayers. This Christmas shipment will mark the start of the GWC's
Adopt-a-Troop Program which will continue to support this group of
