| FOOD AND CLOTHING DRIVES providing basic needs for the less fortunate |
The Good Works Coalition periodically organizes food and
clothing drives for the benefit of less fortunate individuals.
The first clothing drive was held in the winter of 2006 and the
first clothing drive was held in the spring of 2007.
Items received from our food and clothing have been donated
to local charities including the Sunday Breakfast Mission of
Wilmington, Delaware.
The Sunday Breakfast Mission is a non-profit gospel rescue
mission which provides a variety of free services to homeless
and disadvantaged individuals.
The Board of Directors released the following statement:
"Our donors range from college students and working
professionals to retirees. By coordinating these drives, we
hope to cultivate a spirit of goodwill and charity that began
with Christmas and should continue throughout the year."
