GWC Executive Director quoted in August issue of Delaware Parent

August 1, 2006 - The growing cost of a college education can present a huge
challenge for parents in this day and age.  In her article, "Banking on College,"
Janel Atlas provided several resources for parents who anticipate sending
their children to college.

Tisa L. Silver, Executive Director of the Good Works Coalition, Inc. provided
the benefits and drawbacks of investing in bonds, stocks and mutual funds, as
well as advice for parents preparing to finance a college education.  "Many
people pay all of their bills, go shopping and then look at what Is left over to
start saving.  That's backwards.  Set a reasonable amount to save periodically
and stick to it."  Silver advised that regardless of your financial goal, the best
advice Is to start saving as soon as possible.

The article also included contributions from Kelly Tanabe, co-author of "Sallie
Mae How to Pay for College."
