Tisa L. Silver is the Founder and President
of the Good Works Coalition.
Tisa is a graduate of the University of
Delaware's Alfred E. Lerner College of
Business and Economics, obtaining an
undergraduate degree in Finance and
Economics and a graduate degree in
Business Administration.
Upon graduation, Tisa joined the faculty of the University of Delaware as
an Instructor of Finance with a primary course load consisting of Corporate
Finance and Investments. In 2007, she received the Student Choice
Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching Award. In her spare time, Tisa has
shared her financial knowledge with a variety of schools and local
organizations including the Metropolitan Wilmington Urban League, Jack
& Jill of America, Inc. and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Tisa is also a
frequent contributor to local media outlets and has appeared on WHYY's
Delaware Tonight and Comcast's Art Fennell Reports.
Tisa has devoted herself to promoting the importance of education and
independence, with charity as her driving force.
